About Benoît Péloquin

The land and its limits, usage and owners: Benoît Péloquin knows all aspects of land appropriation, and has been handling and processing their data for over two decades.

After having completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences (Geodesy and Surveying), he worked as a land surveyor in a Montreal-based firm. Later on, in 1991, he opened his own business, where his current team numbers eight collaborators who serve the Montreal West Island.

A land surveyor who knows his/her territory intimately can offer superior service. Benoît Péloquin has been scanning and scouring it for a long time, and is highly familiar with rules and regulations concerning its usage and borders; this enables him to provide his clients with accurate, precise information and substantial recommendations.

The state-of-the-art equipment his team members use enhances their experience: for example, they turn to GPS-based receivers coupled with entirely robotized stations for measuring land parameters (angles, distances, heights, etc.). This optimal alliance between experience and the assets of leading-edge technology has enabled them to deepen their knowledge of their territory.

Benoît Péloquin was a member of the Ordre des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec’s Board of Directors from 2008 to 2012. In 2010, he acted as co-trainer as part of the continuing professional development program. Today, he sits on the order’s disciplinary committee.
